Original paintings, pinned up

Vera Lindberg

Paper works and small canvases, collected here like notes and photographs on a studio board.

Est. 1985

A note from Vera

Most of these paintings start as small studies made outdoors — a farm in empty fields, a garden gone to seed — then get worked and reworked on paper in the studio, where I keep them pinned up until I'm sure about them.

I like paper. It holds color quietly, and it forgives a slow hand. Nothing here is reproduced; each piece is the one that came off the board.

If one of them stays with you, write to the studio — the postcard below is real.
