Original Paintings

Color, softened
into light.

Adeline Marsh paints quiet, layered abstracts and landscapes — soft-edged fields of color built up slowly, one wash at a time.

About the Artist

Adeline Marsh

Adeline Marsh works from a light-filled studio outside Asheville, building each painting in thin, overlapping layers until the color feels less like paint and more like weather.

Her palette leans soft and warm — dusty pinks, pale golds, muted sage — mixed in small batches and blended wet-on-wet so no two edges are ever quite sharp.

She shows regularly at regional galleries across the Southeast and takes a small number of private commissions each year.
