Elena Marsh paints in a converted warehouse unit lit almost entirely by a single bank of adjustable track lights — a habit that shaped how she thinks about color long before it shaped how she shows her work.

Her acrylics move between gestural abstraction and half-legible landscape, built up in fast, confident layers rather than slow glazes. She favors paintings that reward being seen in a dim room, one at a time.

Her work has shown in small gallery spaces across the Pacific Northwest and is held in private collections. She accepts a limited number of commissions each year.
