Twenty years of painting have stripped the work down to essentials — shape, edge, one loud color against a field of restraint. Nothing in a Hart painting is accidental, including how unfinished it looks.

Her paintings hang in private collections across three countries. She takes a small number of commissions each year and answers every inquiry herself.
